29th Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival (07.11-23.11.2025)
Lina, a well-known TV host, appears at Pedro’s doorstep to confront him about a cruel message he posted about her online.
What begins as a showdown soon turns into an awkward living arrangement, where both become uncomfortable mirrors of one another. As they’re forced to face their own flaws and insecurities, Pedro and Lina begin to realise they may be more connected than they ever imagined.
“This story begins with a few words thrown out carelessly, from the comfort and distance of a screen. But this time, someone reads them and decides to respond. “Nothing Personal” is the encounter between two worlds that should never have crossed paths, yet somehow do. With this film, I wanted to explore what happens when the filters disappear, when there are no keyboards or screens left between us. Only two people, facing each other in the same space.” – Javier Marco, Film Director
